Read more »Prototype builds of another new design – a dual precision multiple. Not that there was much designing to be done.
There was a whole lot of op-amp data sheet reading and I found a great little precision op-amp which seems to do the job perfectly. I just had to provide the op-amp with a home so it could do it’s stuff!
This design uses the V2164 chip and is based on the Mike Irwin core from way back in 2002. Below is a render of the prototype PCB’s and panel.
